Jeepney Simulator transports you straight into the driver’s seat of the most iconic Philippine vehicle, the jeepney, and your challenges include not only navigating the mad, lively, and nicely chaotic streets of Manila but also establishing a public transportation business. The gameplay combines authentic driving simulation elements with a complex business management system while encapsulating the difficult life and colorful culture of jeepneys. Initially, you only have one second-hand jeepney that is not only old and worn-out but also very slow, and your task is to get to know the city’s unspoken routes, finding passengers by the side of the road.

Besides, the main loop includes busy, extremely fulfilling navigation, passenger handling, and financial survival cycles. You will be maneuvering through the notoriously painful traffic of Manila by avoiding motorcycles, tricycles, and the like, and at the same time keeping your passengers’ temper and the jeepney’s overheat indicator in mind, which would get red if you are stuck too long. Another feature of the game is the “Barker” system through which you compete with other drivers; you must challenge yourself to place at the busiest terminals strategically, bargain with the barker (dispatcher) for the best spots, and even be involved in friendly (or not-so-friendly) rivalries with other jeepney operators to grab the best routes.
