My Winter Car evolves the car simulation genre to become a brutally hard, atmospheric challenge to mechanical skills and survival, putting you in the frozen wilds where your old, beaten-up car is not just a means of transport but your only lifeline. Gameplay is a detailed, very interactive process from initial vehicle assembly to frantically keeping the car running, starting in a freezing garage where every part of the car is put together with a great level of detail, suspension is bolted on, ignition is wired, and the carburetor is tuned in the realistic physics world, a single improperly tightened lug nut can cause a vehicle to fail during drifting on the icy road. When the car is working, each time you get behind the wheel is a tense journey through the dangerous snow-covered areas; you have to carefully handle fuel usage, keep an eye on the engine temperature, and manage the gritty tire grip on black ice.
