Game Overview

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound offers a thrilling fighting adventure that incorporates the lightning-fast skills of ninjas and the savage, rage-powered game mechanics. The main character is a vengeful fighter whose assaults become more powerful as the Rage Meter is filled, thus letting him use brutal finishers and hyper-aggressive combos that make quick work of the enemies with your visceral precision. The core of the gameplay is the awesome maneuver—wall-running, aerial dodges, and instant shuriken counters that keep the action lively, along with the revamped parry system that offers the ringleader’s surprisingly timed deflections with brutal dismemberment.

Moreover, players can interact with the surrounding environment to make their kills more brutal. For example, a player can put an enemy’s head directly on the spikes, causing it to be pierced, or set off an explosive trap, or even use the broken ground to attack the enemy. The game also features “Ragebound Mode,” which is a condition of high danger and high reward as the character’s health is continuously depleted, and at the same time, the attacks become unstoppable; therefore, it is necessary to keep the mode going by having aggressive play.

The enemy AI works logically and smartly. For example, the enemy will flank you, trick you, or take advantage of the time when you are not paying attention to attack. Besides, coexisting with the AI enemies are gigantic bosses, whose fighting requires skill both with a sword and supernatural powers.
