The Medal of Honor: Warfighter presents a realistic and intense experience of modern special operations that involves a first-hand role of a Tier 1 operator at war with an international terrorist organization worldwide, yet secretly. As a first-person shooter game, it is an intense and raw gameplay focusing on squad work, the use of authentic weapons, and the closeness between soldiers. Being a member of the elite US Special Operations unit Preacher, you are the lead character, and the narrative of your own life is interwoven with a global mission of the highest importance, which takes you to places such as Somalia, Bosnia, and the Philippines. The main character of the game is a very complicated person who also faces many problems of his own. The story has a very fast pace and becomes quite exciting as it progresses through the different locations in which it is set. The players are challenged to walk through each violent and dangerous environment, at times it is like a typical urban warfare, while other times it is sniper/long-range engagements.

A great feature of the game is the “Breach” system, which can change the dynamics of the game. You will be able to select from a handful of breach methods, such as explosive, ballistic, and stealth options, each of which has pros and cons; moreover, fresh, realistic, hard-hitting combat for players. The weapon handling is very realistic and very engaging. Short for the second sight “Dual-Sighted system allows for quick change from one sight to another, primary being the main one, and secondary being the red dot one, which is considered a very good tool in the case of changing distances of the battle during the game.

The equipment is very diverse and can be customized in many ways that are also being used in the real world, i.e., attachments such as silencers, lasers, and ammo-specialized. The Frostbite 2 engine exposes the war on a global scale in a very high-quality way: environments that can be destroyed, light being in constant change, and the realism of water particles and the like are very well done.
